OUR CHARGE & MISSION

A Distingushed Camp of the Texas Division turns 30!

Robert “Bob” D. Adams III was the organizing Commander of Hood’s Texas Brigade, Camp #153.  The Camp Charter was re-issued on August 5th,  1993, by the General Executive Council of the SCV, and the first formal meeting was held at Luby’s Cafeteria, Central Park Mall, San Antonio, Texas on September 13, 1993, at 6:30 p.m. Since its rechartering thirty years ago - fifteen gentlemen have served in the position of Camp Commander; each of them added something new to the camp during their administration and even a few firsts.

To commemorate this rare event, the membership designed and had a limited 30th Anniversary Challange Coin crafted. These coins are available for sale at $10.00 a coin. Please contact Rodney W. Seiler - at hoods153adj@outlook.com for availability.
